BG (Ret) Jim Iacocca

BG (Ret) Jim Iacocca will be discussing training and employment opportunities his organization, KRDA, Knox Regional Development Alliance, facilitates for the Knox community through ECTC, among others. In addition, he’ll also discuss the objectives of his organization to advocate for industry to invest in Knox and our surrounding communities.

About BG (Ret) Jim Iacocca

James T. Iacocca is President and CEO of the Knox Regional Development Alliance, a public/private non-profit created to support Fort Knox and the surrounding communities. He graduated from Muhlenberg College and was commissioned in the Adjutant General Corps through the Lehigh University ROTC program. Jim served 29 years in the active Army, serving multiple tours in airborne and special operations units; his general officer assignments include Deputy Commanding General of USAREC and The Adjutant General (TAG) of the Army at Human Resources Command. Jim retired in 2017 at the rank of Brigadier General. He serves as Chairman of the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs and is a board member for the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Greater Louisville Inc., and Hardin County Habitat for Humanity and is actively involved in numerous organizations such as USA Cares and chambers of commerce throughout the region. Jim is a lifetime member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, the Night Stalker Association (160th SOAR (A)) and the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Association. He has Masters Degrees in Human Resource Development from Webster University and in Strategic Studies from the Army War College. In August 2020, the Secretary of the Army appointed Jim to serve as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for Kentucky (North).

The election of the 2021 Officers will be held online on Dec 16th at our website. Only members can vote ~ so renew your membership to participate in the election!  Everyone who is registered by the 15th will be sent information on how to vote (if you are a member) in the chapter election on the 16th.
