Please join us for a Women in AFCEA event sponsored by CoreSys Federal.
Our speaker is LTC (Ret) Terry G. Owens, Radcliff City Councilwoman and appointed to the Kentucky Commission on Women. She will be speaking on the October 2000 Un Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security. Specifically the need to invest in gender equality to help produce stronger economies, societies and political stability at home and abroad. When women have access to services, education, and capital they gain the opportunity to be healthy and astute enough to fully participate in our societies as informed decision-makers to impact peace and security around the world.
Speaker Bio
A native of Newport News, Virginia and a 30-year non-commissioned and commissioned veteran, retired
October 1, 2017 from the Army Medical Service Corps as a Human Resource Manager and Medical Operations
Officer. Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Hampton
University, VA and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia Southern University, AL.
Military assignments include:
- Platoon Leader then Battalion Intelligence Officer for the 708th &123rd Main Support Battalion, 8th Infantry Division and 1st Armored Division, Bad Kreuznach and Dexhiem, Germany

Married to high school sweetheart Raymond in April 1986 and they have one child (Courtney). She and her husband are the home-based proprietors of Tabletop Cuisine Catering Service, specializing in tailored menus.
